Creating Abstract Sculptures - 20 May 2008

Today we created some amazing sculptures using all sorts of natural materials from the landscape. We used stones, willow, shells, moss, fircones, clay, grass, seeds, sticks and flowers, we all worked on individual sculptures but helped each other out when we had finished. Some of the adult helpers and teachers made sculptures too. We learnt about the difference between figurative and abstract sculptures and used our imagination to construct, thinking about materials, shape and form.
